My name is Emily Floyd (she/her), and I am a student at UNC-Chapel Hill, double-majoring in Business and Political Science with a minor in Geographic Information Science. Before attending UNC, I earned my Associate in Arts and a business certificate from my local community college, where I also founded a business club that launched a community book-sharing initiative to expand access to educational resources.
I bring a strong foundation in leadership and service, having organized campus-wide events, mentored peers in technology and design, and built partnerships with institutions such as Wake Forest University. I have also completed business coursework at NYU and studied abroad in France through a partnership with the University of Bordeaux. These experiences strengthened my commitment to entrepreneurship and global collaboration.
I was drawn to NEX GEN CEO because of its mission to empower young entrepreneurs to create meaningful change through business. In my role as Director of Recruitment, I am excited to connect with passionate students and help provide them with opportunities to grow as leaders and innovators within the organization.

My name is Ethan Stroh, and I am from Fargo, North Dakota. Throughout my time in high school, I learned in my roles of President of Future Business Leaders of America and Key Club how amazing it is to give back to others. Currently, I am furthering this by participating in the MAC Mentorship Program and the Undergraduate Accounting Club here at Carolina. My goals for being part of NEX GEN CEO is to mentor and teach others how important it is to do good through business, combining my passions for helping others and business. As CFO, I want to ensure that this non-profit is able to run smoothly so that we can accomplish our mission, helping the next generation see entrepreneurship as a way to serve others and change the world.

Kaylee is a UNC Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler Business School Fellow and author of the children’s book You Can Change the World.
